Award Winning Singer Returns Home to Perform at 6 On The Square

This Saturday, March 7th at 7:30 PM, 6 On The Square in Oxford is pleased to present award winning singer-songwriter Matt Nakoa.  Matt is a local boy, having grown up on a small goat farm in Smyrna.

Matt graduated from Sherburne-Earlville High School in 2002 and then went to the Berklee School of Music in Boston where he studied with singing greats Pat Pattison and Livingston Taylor. He also collaborated with Grammy Award winner Kathy Mattea.

His first album, 2012's "Light in the Dark," was received as an eclectic pop/rock masterpiece and led to radio play and performances with the likes of Patty Larkin, Ellis Paul and Tom Rush.
