We were joined in the Big Kat studios Thursday morning by Simon Solomon, the recently appointed executive director of the Rogers Center in Sherburne.  He told us about their annual Earth Fest event coming May 5th.  Plans that day include kayak and canoe demonstrations, bird house and butterfly house building, fly fishing demonstrations, artist exhibits and much more.

The visitor center will be open with a couple of new exhibits on display, and they have turned the microphones on so you can hear the ducks and geese on the pond from within the center.

For further information on Earth Fest and other family events coming up at Rogers Center, call 607-674-4733 or visit their web site. They are located at 2721 State Highway 80 in Sherburne.

Listen to the entire chat with Simon to find out more.
