Catholic Charities of Chenango County has a great day of music and food planned for this Saturday, September 28th at the fairgrounds, and Terry Potter joined us in the studio Thursday morning to tell us about it.  The day begins at 11 AM and features a great line up of bands including The Beadle Brothers, The Eric Porter Experience, Suspicious Hats and an awesome Journey tribute band, Scarab. Scarab sold out the Foothills Center in Oneonta earlier this year, and also have sold out the Turning Stone Casino's Showroom Friday night. I'm told if you close your eyes, you'll swear Steve Perry is on stage.

In addition to the great music, you'll also have the opportunity to sample beers from some of the area's best breweries.

Proceeds of the event will help Catholic Charities of Chenango County continue the outstanding work they do for the county every day. Some 5300 households and 17,000 family members received the equivalent of over 236,000 meals from Catholic Charities in the past year, in addition to the countless other services they provide.
