We were joined in the Big Kat studio recently by Simon Solomon, Director for the Rogers Environmental Education Center. He was here to fill us in on some upcoming projects for the Center and talk about their "Spring Frolic" coming up this Friday, the 20th at the Colgate Inn in Hamilton.  This is a major fund raiser for the Center, which nearly closed a few years ago after the state cut off funding, but was saved by the Friends of Rogers.

The Friends of Rogers maintain the 600 acres of the Center, including trout ponds and 6 miles of trails. They will also host a number of programs and events such as the Winter Living Celebration, Earth Fest, a week long summer youth camp and much more.

For more information on the Spring Frolic and the Rogers Environmental Education Center in Sherburne, go to the Friends of Rogers website and listen to the entire interview with Simon by clicking below.
