Over one hundred bikers turned out Saturday morning in Norwich for the 9th Annual Poker Run to benefit combat veterans.

The event was organized by Paul Russo, President of the Legion Riders of American Legion Post 189 of Norwich, and Commander Michelle Grey of Post 189.

Russo introduced Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney, who is running in the June primary against incumbent Republican Congressman Richard Hanna for the 22nd congressional district seat. Tenney attended the event to show her support for veterans.

A scenic one hundred mile ride through Chenango County followed, with a stop at the Veterans' Home in Oxford. Funds raised will benefit combat veterans through "The Hospital Care Project"
