Bucky Covington and his flowing locks star in the new video for ‘I Wanna Be That Feeling.’ The summery clip celebrates the carefree spirit of youth and young love on a sun-splashed day. It does an effective job of transporting the viewer to the time when hanging with friends was a top priority while not having care in the world.

Covington plays guitar and sings while perched atop a boxy, yellow, convertible truck, while he romances a pretty blonde lady who wraps her arms around him from behind. The video makes the point that youth doesn’t last forever, so you may as well cherish it and suck the marrow from life in the here and now.

The footage of an always smiling Covington and his lady love is meshed with footage of a circle of friends. They all let the wind blow through their hair, ride bicycles and enjoy where the day takes ‘em without much of a plan. No worries. No concerns. No cares. No problems. Isn’t that how life should be?

The video is light, sweet and refreshing, like a tall glass of lemonade on a hot day. It’s actually making us yearn for the summer to hurry up and get here.

‘I Wanna Be That Feeling’ is the lead single from Covington’s upcoming second album due out later this year.
