This week, approximately 100 Delegates from across 10 counties met to formally nominate Chenango County District Attorney Joe McBride to run as the Republican Party's candidate for State Supreme Court in the November election.

The Norwich Theater Company will be holding auditions for their Christmas production for three days, Saturday September 22nd at 10 AM, the 23rd at 2 PM, and the 24th at 6 PM.

Novice and experienced runners are encouraged to register for the upcoming Chobani Chamber Trail Run, scheduled this year for Sunday, September 30th. This is the third annual run and features both 5K and 10K runs for both men and women.

The 1st annual Twin Tiers International Film Festival will be held at the Kappel Theater in Norwich September 7th, 8th and 9th. Fifty-two films will be screened over the 3 day festival which will also play host to cinematography and screenwriters workshops.
