Relay For Life of Chenango County and the American Cancer Society will will hold their Survivor Dinner Reception and Opening Ceremony July 21st at the Norwich Fire Department on East Main Street.
They are celebrating a very special milestone at the Rogers Environmental Education Center in Sherburne, as this year marks their 50th anniversary. In 1968, John Weeks had a vision, put it down on paper, and ultimately, the Rogers Environmental Education Center came to be. As part of their Golden Anniversary celebrations, Friends of Rogers will host a variety of activities free for the whole family Saturday, June 9th from 10a-3p. Avtivities include fishing, archery, camping, hiking, gardening, and more.

June is Dairy Month, and that means the 2018 Chenango County Dairy Day celebration is almost here! Now going on the 18th year, Dairy Day has been a great community event celebrating the history and impact of agriculture in the county.
Hospice of Chenango County has two very special events coming up. The first will be Tuesday, June 5th when they hold a Service of Remembrance behind Guernsey Memorial Library, beginning at 7 PM. The Service includes a candle lighting ceremony, a memorial slide show, guest speakers and recitation of names.
