Close Call for Idol Champ

Sometimes, with all his success, it's hard to remember that Scotty McCreery is just a high school senior...and an athlete. He was pitching for his high school team when a one hopper back to the mound hit him in that "Golden" throat.  Fortunately, he was OK and stayed in the game...his line? 4 1/3 pitched, 6 K's, seven hits allowed.
