Free Concert in Oxford Sunday

This Sunday, July 6th at 2 PM, 6 On The Square in Oxford invites everyone to a free outdoor concert in LaFayette Park to hear the talented duo, Burns and Kristy. Terry Burns and Ron Kristy have written many songs for other country artists as well as for film and television soundtracks.

Burns began her career in the Southern Tier in the mid 80's working with their sisters in the Burns Sister Band. They recorded three albums with Columbia records. At the age of 28, she struck out on her own, moving to Nashville where she became a successful staff writer for companies such as EMI, MCA, and Larga Vista.

Kristy has been a TV and film composer for over 25 years, and his music can be heard on shows such as the Dog Whisperer, 20/20, How I Met Your Mother and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
