According to New York State Police, A town of Greene man is due in court today on charges stemming from the discovery of a marijuana grow operation. Police say they were called to a Hogsback Road address last month on a welfare check and they found the home’s owner identified as Christopher Phillips had several marijuana plants growing in the home along with an area in a shed which had two pot plants. Officers also found large storage totes of dried marijuana. Phillips is charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana, Public Health Law misdemeanor unlawfully growing cannabis and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.
