“It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!”

That is, if you are a "Blue fan. Summer is winding down, but Blues fans are ready for one last fling as the 22nd annual Chenango Blues Fest is this Friday and Saturday, August 15 and 16. 22 years ago, a few friends got together to form the Chenango Blues Association and put together a show at the fairgrounds in Norwich. A few hundred people showed up for a little get together in the exhibition hall. Now that little party brings thousands to town every year, and with the line-up on tap, this year will be no exception.

All week, we will feature a couple of acts each day to help you get a taste of what's to come this weekend. Today, it's Samantha Fish, who I can't wait to see, and Mia Borders.  Borders, by the way, will be doing some big time traveling after her Norwich appearance as her website indicates that she has a show in Brazil the day after her Blues Fest gig!

Friday night's show is free, tickets for Saturday are 20 dollars in advance, 30 the day of the show. For more information, visit their website.
