The Oneonta Housing Authority will be sharing in $397 million in funding from a federal capital housing fund. OHA will receive just over $136,000 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Public Housing Capital Fund to maintain the physical infrastructure of developments and improve the safety and security of its residents. In a news release US Senators Chuck Schumer and Kristen Gillibrand say the money will help housing authorities develop, finance and modernize their public housing facilities.
