Tuesday, June 4th at 7PM, the Oxford Historical Society will present Oxford's "West Side Story" in the Community Room of the Oxford Library.  Guest speakers will give a spoken tour of stores, businesses and residences, accurately detailing the west side of the village back in the 50's when it was in its heyday.

Most people know LaFayette Park with it's classic cast iron Cole Fountain, a few shops and historic homes, but do you remember what used to be there west of the Oxford Bridge?

There was a time when Oxford had everything...a movie theater, bowling alley, five grocery stores and more.  Street by street, these places will be recalled with photos and memories from the Oxford Museum on display.

For more information call the Oxford Library at 843-6146.  The library is located at 8 Fort Hill Park.
