Oxford Legion Auxiliary Member Honored For 61 Years of Service

The NYS Veteran's Home in Oxford was visited recently by many American Legion members of the state's 6th district for an annual tour and honorary luncheon. Also in attendance was Assemblyman Clifford Crouch of the 122nd district.

The assemblyman was there to honor one of the Home's residents, Barbara Bogie, a member and past president of the Fort Hill American Legion Auxiliary Unit 376. Mr. Crouch presented Barbara with a citation honoring her for 61 years of service to the community and American Legion Auxiliary. She spent countless hours volunteering in the NYS Veterans Home as well as working the Sunday Community breakfasts.
