June is Dairy Month, and that means the 2018 Chenango County Dairy Day celebration is almost here!  Now going on the 18th year, Dairy Day has been a great community event celebrating the history and impact of agriculture in the county.

The day will begin as always, with a parade leading to the fairgrounds and a fun afternoon of family activities and educational exhibits.  The planning committee wants local farmers, businesses, community and school groups to join in the parade fun, and are looking for floats, bands, and marchers to take part.  Farmers are especially welcome to bring their tractors!

The parade route is a little different this year due to some insurance regulations.  The line up will take place at CWS parking lot on Midland Drive in Norwich and proceed down Maydole Street to the fairgrounds. Step off is at 10:30 AM on June 16th, Dairy Day, rain or shine.  If your group would like to participate, call Karen Hoffman at 607-334-3231, Ext 116.

Dairy Day activities and celebration will take place at the Chenango County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 16th from 11 AM to 2 PM.
