The state department of Agriculture and Markets is warning consumers not to eat a raw goat milk cheese made by a South New Berlin company because of possible listeria contamination. The product is called “Wild Meadow” manufactured by The Maiden’s Creamery and according to officials a routine sample tested on Feb. 20 came back positive for Listeria.
