Republican candidate for governor, Rob Astorino stopped in Chenango County Tuesday morning for a meet and greet at Fred’s Inn, south of Norwich.

Astorino, who is currently Weschester County Executive, told guests that New York has to live within its means and reverse the trend of losing more and more of our population and jobs to other states:

Astorino went on to say that New York has become the worst state to retire in. An example, he says, is evident at the local Walmart where you see retirees going back to work in order to pay their bills or keep their homes.
