Santa’s Secret Shoppe is This Weekend in Oxford

The Fellowship Hall of the United Church of Oxford will be transformed into Santa's Secret Shoppe this Saturday, December 6th from 9 AM-noon. It's a once a year opportunity gift shopping time for kids. Here's how it will work....kids should plan to come with gift lists and some money. They will be directed into the large hall filled with display tables brimming with hand crafted items and gently used items. The young shoppers only have to spend a small amount, ranging from 25 cents to two dollars.

While the children shop, the parents will be "sequestered" in another room. By the way, there will be items in the grown up room, so they will have some difficult choices to make also.

The bake sale table will be back as well with plenty of freshly baked goodies, and after all the difficult budgeting and gift buying decisions have been made, there will be cookies in the refreshment room where kids will meet back up with their parents.
