State Senator James L. Seward announced that $250,000 has been allocated in the 2017-2018 New York State budget to protect New York farmers through continuation of the highly successful New York Rollover Protection System Rebate Program.

The ROPS program, now in its eleventh year, has outfitted nearly 1600 tractors in New York State with the life-saving rollover protection. In a statement Seward said the ROPS rebate program funding is a small expenditure but it can mean the difference between life and death in the event of a tractor rollover.
