This Saturday, June 15th at 7:30, 6 On The Square in Oxford will present singer-songwriter Tret Fure.  Her musical career spans 4 decades and 13 albums and has received many awards for her contributions to Women's Music.  Tret also has her own clothing line, a recipe book and she is union president of Local 1000.

Fure began her career at the age of 16 singing in Mid-western coffee houses, then moved to Berkeley.  When she was 19, she moved to L.A. and within a year was working as guitarist and vocalist for the legendary Spencer Davis.

She recorded her first album in 1973 which was produced by Lowell George of Little Feat, and went on to open for such great bands as Poco, Yes, and the J. Geils Band.
