St. Patrick’s Day By The Numbers

It may have religious undertones, but St. Patrick's Day still ranks as one of the biggest drinking days of the year. It's estimated that more than 33 million people from  around the world will combine cocktails, beer and cabbage in the name of St. Patrick.

Here are some of the "numbers" as estimated by WalletHub.com...over 52% of Americans plan to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year...100 different Hallmark St. Patrick Day cards are available....13 million pints of Guinness will be consumed (a number I will be happily contributing to)....70% increase in cabbage shipments during St. Patrick's week.....11% of Americans are planning a St. Patrick's Day vacation.
