Sure, the fair is long over and the Blues Fest Committee is working on the 2014 show, but that doesn't mean the music has "died" at the fairgrounds.  Coming Saturday, September 28th, it's "Bands, Brew and BBQ."  That's right, a full day of music and fun at the fairgrounds brought to you this time around by Catholic Charities of Chenango County...

Just wanted to congratulate the organizers of this year's Pumpkin Festival.  Everyone  I talked to had nothing but good things to say about the entire week end, and I think taking the emphasis off trying to set a record for pumpkins was a good idea...

The Pumpkin Festival committee decided to change the dates of this year's event.  They are hoping that more families can attend that usually can't make it because of youth sporting events, and they hope that by having it earlier in the month there is a better chance for nice fall weather...
