The 164th Chenango County Fair is history, and one of the highlights for me on the final day was a performance by Cassidy Lynn and Sundown.  She is one of our favorite people, and it's great to see how far she has come since the days in East Park singing with a Karaoke machine...

The Chenango County Fair got off to a great start Tuesday. Thousands took advantage of free admission courtesy of NBT Bank, and many enjoyed the annual 4-H and Fireperson's Parade. In addition to the parade, the entertainment tent was full as the Chenango Blues Association's Summer Concert Series came to a rousing end with Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience...

Where has the summer gone? Day one of the Chenango County Fair is today(Tuesday).  Time to pack on some pounds to stay warm in the winter with your favorite fair food, right? While the food is "good", there is certainly plenty to do besides eating every day at the fair...

It is indeed county fair season, and while I always look forward to the Chenango County Fair, this year I am also excited about the Otsego County Fair. Back when the Chenango County Fair seemed a bit more progressive with their event scheduling, we could look forward to Millenia Entertainment's announcement about who was coming to perform...

It's my understanding that the Chenango County Fair Board has decided not to go with a name act at this year's fair. Too bad, because Millenia Entertainment brought some great acts to town, including Josh Gracin, Mark Wills, Sarah Johns and  Andy Griggs...
