The calendar may say spring began on March 21st, but in Norwich, it starts this  Saturday, March 29th Why? It's the Norwich Elks Lodge chicken BBQ season kick off.. Yup, we know it's official when the Elks fire up the grill and start cooking up the chicken...

This morning Chris Carpenter, volunteer with the Thanksgiving Community Dinner in Oneonta, NY joined me to share information and invite the community, especially those who would love to have company on the Thanksgiving holiday, to this heart warming and delicious event on November 28th at the Oneonta Elks Lodge, 84 Chestnut Street.

Get ready for another delicious chicken BBQ from the folks at the Norwich Elks Lodge.  They will be at it again this Saturday, June 8th at the lodge on East Main Street. Halves are 6 bucks, dinners which include cole slaw, baked beans and mac salad, are 9 dollars...

The "Courageous Crew"  Relay for Life team is having a spaghetti luncheon Sunday, April 7th at the Elks Lodge on East Main St. in Norwich. Lunch includes spaghetti with meatball, salad, garlic bread and dessert. Donations are 8 dollars for adults and 4 dollars for kids...
