Woodshed Prophets

6 On The Square in Oxford will kick off the new year in grand fashion this Saturday, January 11th as they present a special acoustic show by the Woodshed Prophets. The Prophets are an Americana band formed in Binghamton in 2009 with members of upstate groups such as Fetish Lane and Dirt Farm...

We are fortunate here in the Southern Tier area to have so many talented bands and performers, and on the Fourth of July, you will have an opportunity to see and hear many of them on the same stage. The 2nd Annual Music and Balloon Fest will be held at the Chenango County Fairgrounds, and among the great area artists scheduled to perform are Kaitlyn Jackson, The Woodshed Prophets, The Jason Wicks

The Pumpkin Festival committee decided to change the dates of this year's event.  They are hoping that more families can attend that usually can't make it because of youth sporting events, and they hope that by having it earlier in the month there is a better chance for nice fall weather...

Downtown Norwich was bustling all weekend with sales and music.  I saw many people taking advantage of local merchants sales and various informational booths and kiosks during sidewalk sale days, and by all accounts, the cruise-in Friday was a huge success...
