The Holiday Season Kick-Off Event in Oxford

Everyone is invited to join Oxford Village Mayor Terry Stark in Lafayette Park in Oxford Sunday, November 25 at 5 PM  for the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.  Folks will gather by the bandstand for an old fashioned community festival of lights, music, roasted chestnuts, caroling and refreshments.

Each year, the Oxford Holiday Committee takes on the task to creatively design and decorate the park and the new bridge, and they promise this year's display will not disappoint.  The 12 foot tree will feature lighted vignettes and many new sparkling ornaments, and parents bring your cameras, because Santa will be in attendance.
