The Town of Maryland invites its residents to one of the two Comprehensive Plan Open House Meetings at the Schenevus AMVETS Post 2572 on Tuesday, September 25 and Thursday, September 27 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Town is seeking input from local residents to help the town's Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee determine important issues and goals for the community.

Currently, the Town of Maryland is in the process of updating its 2008 Comprehensive Plan. As part of the process, the Town is working with its Steering Committee and its planning consultant, the Otsego County Conservation Association. When completed, the Comprehensive Plan will outline a vision for the Town’s future as well as a set of specific goals and objectives.

“These open house meetings will allow residents an opportunity to provide their input on how the Comprehensive Plan should be shaped,” said Danny Lapin, environmental planner with the Otsego County Conservation Association.
