What’s Happening?

A couple of events in Chenango County coming up this month that might be of interest to you.  First, Hospice of Chenango County will present the first monthly talk in a year long series to assist those who have lost a loved one.  The talks are scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of each month, and the first will be January 17th at 1:30 in the offices of the Chenango Health Network in the Eaton Center.  This month's topic is..."Buried in Paperwork: Where to Start After a Loss."  For further info call 607-334-3556 or visit their website.

On a lighter note, 6 On The Square in Oxford will hold their next Open Mic night January 17th, and every third Thursday of the month after that.  Singers, musicians, and poetry readers are all invited to participate beginning at 7:30 PM.  Also at 6OTS, be sure to view the wildlife paintings by Norwich artist Johanna Lerwick on exhibit through January 27th.
