If you have a PC computer with Windows XP, then you may have heard by now that beginning April 9th, 2014, support will no longer be provided by Microsoft to users for that operating system. They have decided it's too old to bother with any more and are putting their resources toward newer technologies.

So what exactly does this mean?  It all translates to: no technical assistance, no automatic updates to protect your computer, and Microsoft Security Essentials downloads will no longer be available for Windows XP.  The ending result is that your computer will be more vulnerable to security risks and viruses.  Plus, newer software and apps may not work with Windows XP.

Good time for a computer upgrade?  You bet.
