5 Things Dumber Than Buying a Lottery Ticket

According to some of my friends, it's stupid to spend money on the lottery. It's just money down the drain, money that could have been spent on better things or even put away for the proverbial rainy day. Admittedly, they are correct about the chances of winning. The odds are millions to one of winning a big jackpot.

That being said, with the Power Ball jackpot approaching 250 million dollars for the mid week drawing, needless to say, more than one of my anti lottery ticket buying friends will indeed plop down 2 or more hard earned dollars for their chance at economic freedom.
