On Saturday December 22 at 7:00 AM we visited with three local experts about timely topics on all of our Townsquare Media radio stations for "This Week in Central New York."

Eric Malanoski talks to Delaware County Sheriff Craig DuMond.  They reviewed upcoming initiatives from the sheriff's office, including school safety and the opioid epidemic.

Big Chuck talked with Andy Mason, who is co-president of the Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society.  They are planning an "eagle-watching trip."  Last year's event sold out and they can see as many as a dozen bald eagles in nesting areas around local reservoirs.

And Eric ended the show with a chat with Nicole Roe, member services counselor with our local AAA office.  They conducted an interesting talk about safe holiday travel plans.  Of course the Christmas season is always one of the busiest travel periods of the entire year.
