Adam Hambrick and his wife, Merritt Hambrick, welcomed their second child, a daughter named Heidi Celeste Hambrick, on Friday (July 19).

"Wow what a weekend," Hambrick tweeted. "Our family is proud to welcome our 2nd daughter, Heidi Celeste Hambrick. Mom and baby were blessed with a safe delivery and are doing very well. Remember all that 'bloodshot eyes, watch the sunrise' stuff? Yeah, we’re doing that again."

Heidi is the couple's second daughter. Their older daughter, Gracie Lane, is three. “Gracie is so excited to have a sister to play with," Hambrick tells Country Now. "She’s at an age where she always wants to help, so that will be fun for us too.”

“Merritt and Heidi are doing well and settling in,” Hambrick also shared with the website. “We appreciate all our family and friends so much for their kind words and congratulations. And the cookies. We definitely appreciate the cookies.”

The couple announced that they were expecting their second child back in March, in the most epic way: The Hambricks all went to a Nashville staple, Five Daughters Bakery, and revealed via donuts that they were expecting, and that the baby would be a girl. They shared the sweet moment on Instagram.

Hambrick and his wife met while attending college at the University of Central Arkansas. They got married in 2008.

In 2018, Hambrick released his debut single, "Rockin' All Night Long," on his new record label home, Capitol Nashville and Buena Vista Records. He will be performing at select summer music festivals through the end of September.
