Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, Elvis Costello, Maria Muldaur, Delbert McClinton and Mavis Staples will be honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards from the Americana Music Association this year. According to a press release, Costello will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting, while McClinton's trophy will be presented in the Performance category. The Bryants will be posthumously honored with the President's Award in recognition of their songwriting contributions; Muldaur's Americana Trailblazer Award recognizes her important career contributions to folk, roots and other genres; and Staples' Spirit of Americana Free Speech Award win "celebrates her nearly seven-decade career and inspiration as an enduring pillar of hope and justice," according to a press release. The trophies will all be presented at the 2019 Americana Honors & Awards ceremony on Sept. 11 in Nashville; the event is part of AmericanaFest, which runs Sept. 10-15.

Jason Isbell, Brad Paisley and more artists will perform at Joe Walsh's VetsAid 2019. The one-day festival is set for Nov. 10 at Houston, Texas' Toyota Center, and will also feature performances from Sheryl Crow, ZZ Top and of course, Walsh himself. Proceeds from VetsAid go directly to charities serving veterans. Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday (Aug. 16) at 10AM CT.

Alabama will team up with surf-rock legends the Beach Boys for an upcoming stop on the country trio's 50th Anniversary Tour. The two acts will perform at Wichita, Kan.'s Intrust Bank Arena on Nov. 2; tickets go on sale Friday (Aug. 16) at 10AM CT. "Jeff, Randy and I used to listen to the incredible harmonies of the Beach Boys when we started our band 50 years ago," Alabama's Teddy Gentry says in a statement. "Our goal as a band was to have the same magic as the Beach Boys' harmonies and unique songs."

Kacey Musgraves, Brandi Carlile and more will perform at the inaugural Intersect Festival. According to a press release, the event is set for Dec. 6-7 in Las Vegas, Nev., and will also feature performances from the Foo Fighters, Leon Bridges and more as-yet-unannounced acts. Tickets for Intersect 2019 go on sale on Friday (Aug. 16) at 12PM PT.
