Animals Found Dead In Maryland Barn

Otsego County Sheriff Richard Devlin reports the Sheriff’s Office along with the Susquehanna SPCA is investigating an animal cruelty situation in the Town of Maryland. Deputies located approximately two dozen dead cattle in a barn, and another 30 head in poor condition late Tuesday.

In addition to cows, deputies found pigs, sheep, and goats that lacked proper care. Charges are pending.
