Sarah Friedman and Christopher Dushko from the Friends of Rogers joined us in the Big Kat studio recently to tell us all about the annual Earth Fest coming up at the Rogers Center this Sunday, May 4th. This great family event goes from noon to 4 and features local vendors and exhibitors, live music, activities for the kids and the Binghamton Zoo Mobile. While they hope for a nice sunny day, the event will be held rain or shine as there are numerous exhibits inside.

Earth Fest is just one of many events going on at the Rogers Center this year. Every first and third Thursday there is a family fun program and this summer they will host a bi-weekly Summer Adventure Series Program which is an all day program where kids can explore the forest around the center, as well as the streams and ponds. There will also be games, experiments and other activities.

For more information on these and other events at the Rogers Center in Sherburne, call 674-4733 or visit the Friends of Rogers website.  You can also hear the entire interview with Sarah and Chris by clicking below.
