COVID-19 confirmed cases are climbing in Chenango, Delaware and Otsego Counties. As of yesterday afternoon, Delaware County Public Health reported a total of 62 confirmed coronavirus cases. In Chenango County, cases are up to 78 and the most recent update from the Otsego County Department of Health is from April 17 when they  reported 50 total COVID-19 cases with a total of 4 deaths in the county from coronavirus.

According to the NYS Department of Health, there are currently 242,786 cases of confirmed COVID-19 in the state with 6054 new cases confirmed statewide yesterday.

Please note that the number of confirmed cases does not reflect the actual number of cases because of limited testing for the virus.
