Benton Wins Cooperstown Trustee Seat

The results are in from a runoff election held Tuesday to decide who gets the second trustee seat in Cooperstown after Macguire Benton and Mary Margaret Robbins tied following an initial ballot count.

According to AllOTSEGO, in yesterday's vote, Benton received 343 votes while Robbins garnered 308 votes. Incumbent Joe Membrino secured his re-election with 287 votes in the initial election held earlier this month.
