Simon Solomon, Executive Director of the Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center joined us in the Big Kat studios Thursday to tell us about a big day coming to the center on January 26th.  It's their 36th Annual Winter Living Celebration. The event, which runs from 11 AM to 4 PM, is a great opportunity for families to get out and enjoy the winter weather together.

Outside activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and horse drawn sleigh rides all at no charge. If it's too cold for you, there are plenty of indoor activities as well, including live music, fly-tying, crafts for children and various other nature related activities.  There will also be small warming fires at various sites around the celebration to gather around.

For more on the Annual Winter Living celebration, the Friends of Rogers and upcoming events, visit their website and listen to the entire interview with Simon below.
