We were busy Friday morning as Elizabeth Monaco, Executive Director of the Chenango United Way and Matt and Bruce Beadle all paid us a visit.

Elizabeth wanted to tell us about the Day of Caring which is Saturday and marks the official start of the 2013 campaign.  136 volunteers will spend a half day working on various projects through out the county. She said this year's goal is 456,000 dollars.

The Beadle Brothers also stopped by to talk about their gig tomorrow at the "Bands, Brew and BBQ" event tomorrow at the Chenango County Fairgrounds, to benefit Chenango County Roots and Wings. It gave us a chance to catch up on what's been going on with Matt and Bruce, as they haven't played locally in almost a year. Some exciting things happening for the brothers, including signing a year long contract to play at Turning Stone Casino. Listen to the entire interview below and hear what else is happening for the band.
