Cash Mob Draws a Crowd in Norwich

The first ever "Cash Mob" was held Saturday in the City of Norwich at Ms. B's downtown. The event was sponsored by the Norwich Business Improvement District and Commerce Chenango.  The idea behind the event is to create support for local businesses.

Commerce Chenango is expecting to hold other "Cash Mobs" in other parts of Chenango County this year

Cash Mobs, gaining popularity around the country, involve people voting on nominated businesses, and turning out in force at the winning business to show support and to become familiar with local business owners.
