Many area country fans may not realize it, but the main members of Gloriana hail from nearby New Hartford, just outside of Utica.  Brothers Tom and Mike Gossin were members of a local band called Captain Zippy in their high school days before heading off to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.  Soon after, they moved to Nashville, hooked up with Rachel Reinart and Cheyenne Kimball, and Gloriana was a band. Kimball has left the band, but the Gossins and Reinart are going strong, as we will all see at the festival.

In early 2009 they released "Wild at Heart" which became the highest selling country music debut single of 2009 and soon they signed on to Taylor Swift's Fearless Tour, and the rest, as they say. is history.

Gloriana won the 2010 Academy of Country Music's Top New Vocal Group award and that same year, "Wild at Heart" was certified gold.

Gloriana will be part of the incredible line up at the Taste of Country Music Festival June 13-15 at Hunter Mountain. Ticket purchase and  campsite and lodging reservations can be made now at the festival web site.
