Over 100 runners participated in this year's Chobani Chamber Challenge  on the hills of Pharsalia Woods State Forest on Sunday, September 30th.  Runners in the 5K and 10 K competed against each other and against the terrain, with the top finishers receiving cash prizes and all others were awarded wooden medallions, Chobani yogurt, and other goodies.

Kelly Small placed first in the women's 5K, Terri Woodard was second and Merle Maxey came in third.  The 5K men's race was won by Ben Moore with a time of 21:25:70.  He was followed by Steve Pelosi and Antony Lewis.

In the 10K race, the first place womens's finisher was Jamie Woolsey, clocking in at 43:39:12, followed by Sandra Randall and Sonya Houston.  On the men's side, first place went to William Slentz, with Lucas Stone 2nd and Adam Aldrich in 3rd place.

Commerce Chenango sent out special thanks to all the sponsors, and extra special thank yous to the Pharsalia Fire Department for their help with traffic control.  They also recognized the enormous effort put forth by volunteers who provided on-course directions, help with registration, and staffing of water stations.
