Over the next few months, Commerce Chenango's Economic Development Department will work with community members, government officials, local organizations, and businesses to update the county's economic development plan. It will help the county identify goals and strategies necessary to improve quality of life, increase economic development opportunities, and achieve greater economic sustainability.

A series  of public forums will be held in September to provide the community with an opportunity to meet and share concerns, thoughts, and ideas about economic development in the county.

The meetings are scheduled for Monday, Sept. 10th from 6-8 in the Bainbridge-Guilford Central School District Conference room, Sept 12th in the BOCES cafeteria in Norwich, Sept 20th at the Unadilla Valley Central School Library, and Sept 25th in the Moore Memorial Library Cynthia Raymond room in Greene.

RSVP not required, but community members who want to attend are encouraged to call 607-334-1401.
