Two Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies took park in life saving training at the State Preparedness Training Center in Oriskany. Cpl. Daniel McGowan and Officer Robert Mantzouratos participated in Project Lifesaver which uses state of the art radio technology to assist in locating individuals with Alzheimer’s and other Related Mental Dysfunction Disorders who become lost. These individuals wear a personalized tracking wristband so that a search and rescue team responds to the lost person’s area and starts searching with the mobile locator tracking system.
