There hasn't been a ton for New York Jets fans to get excited about over the last few years (well last few coaches) but things could be looking up for Gang Green. The Jets landed one of if not the hottest, coaching candidates in former San Fransisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh and now they might have a legit shot at Deshaun Watson.

The Jets are perfectly poised to make a trade for Watson. They have the draft picks and cap space needed to make the deal. The biggest speed block would be Watson's no-trade clause but if he's liking posts suggesting he comes to New York that might not be an issue. Watson was even in town yesterday as part of an event honoring Martin Luther King Jr. It's all circumstantial at this point but why not make it known you want Watson and push the team to make the move? Jets fans could influence the Jets to add a 25-year-old Pro-Bowl caliber QB to help lead the team back to relevance.
