Dodger Catcher’s Wife Gives Birth In The Car

With all the tragic news surrounding the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy, it's nice to see a "feel good" story isn't it?  Dodgers catcher A. J. Ellis thought he would have more than enough time to get to the hospital when his wife informed him that her water broke.  NOT.

Ellis missed the birth of his first two children, but he was definitely  there for his third.  As he was rushing his wife to the hospital, she gave birth to their daughter in the front seat of the car.  According to a story in ESPN The Magazine, he didn't even have time to pull over before she was born.  Both mother and daughter are reportedly doing fine.
