Driver Caught After Leading Deputies in Pursuit

A suspect leading Chenango County Sheriff’s deputies on a pursuit is now in custody. Last Thursday deputies went to a Plymouth address to locate John Buffa II who was wanted on a felony bench warrant. Buffa wasn’t there but was spotted on County Road 16 in the Town of Plymouth and that’s where the chase started. Deputies broke it off after heading through Chenango and Madison Counties. Buffa was found Friday at a Norwich residence and is now in jail pending a court appearance.
