Earlville Opera House Presents…….

No, not Merle Haggard I'm afraid but Fred Eaglesmith and his 6 piece Traveling Steam Show.  Eaglesmith has earned comparisons to Haggard though, as well as John Prine, Woody Guthrie and Neil Young.

The Ontario based singer has released 19 albums and written more than 1000 songs since the early 80's. One reviewer wrote "If you can imagine Tom Waits meets Pink Floyd meets Hank Williams you may understand why Eaglesmith has such devoted fans."  Check out the tune below and you will see what they mean.
