Early Morning Blaze Damages Oneonta Market & Gas Station

A fire tore through an Oneonta market, deli and gas station early Thursday morning.  The Leatherstocking Market and Fuel location at 134 Delaware County Rt 11 sustained serious damage in the fire.  It was a place for groceries, deli foods and fuel.  It was formerly known as Gersters

The Pindars Corners Fire department and other services responded to the fire.

A Facebook message posted by the owners of Leatherstocking Market and Fuel read:

"For those that haven't heard, the store was on fire this morning. I am unsure how bad the damage is, but at this point we will be closed for a while, until we can fix everything. To all our customers, we appreciate your business and I will update you on the status of the store, as I find out things."
